Transparens (och kaffe)

This is our first transparency table including all coffee purchases made from October 2023 to September 2024.

The common price we can get from all coffees is the price at export, known as the FOB-price. The FOB-price gives a general point of comparison of how much coffee costs before leaving its origin, and this include costs after the coffee leaves the producer.

Volumes are given in kilograms, but prices are given in US-dollar per pound, as this is the common trade term for green coffee. With prices and volumes you will also see the cup quality that we and the producer agree on and of course the traceability back to who produced what coffee.

We include the length of each relation as trade stability which is a key element to making a continuous impact and to grow together.

We share our price transparency mainly to strengthen the flow of information back to the producers we work with, as well to all other producers not in our community for us all to get a better understanding on how coffee can be priced. This is also the reason why this page is written in English.

We also contribute with this data to the Speciality Coffee Transaction Guide.
